    Is it ok?

    Hello,

I am not sure one way or the other as far as this is concerned. It's an interesting idea any way.

Try a couple side by side trials and let us know what you come up with. When it comes time for me to start a new batch of seed (2-3 weeks) I will also try with some of my seeds to see if I can tell any difference.

    Peace

    Hello,

Do you experience bad germination rates? If so, what method do you use?

I soak for 12-24 hours in water, put between damp papertowels, put in a rubbermaid with a layer of vermiculite in the bottom, close it up and set it on my monitor. I almost always have taproots within 36 hours.

    Talk to you later.

    Peace

The rooting gel will work if you are taking clones. It will not work in that manner for germinating a seed. If you have an investment in your seeds, start them in the sponge starters which then pop into the rockwool cubes. If you use the damp napkin or whatever, you are introducing bacteria into the rooting environment and may or may not have problems later on. Also you have to be very careful of the delicate developing root. With the sponges, there are no worries.

I think rooting jell will have to many nutrients and mite burn and kill your plants.
