I don't hate cops or anything, I don't like them per se, but I think they do alot of stereotyping and racial profiling. I've never had any experiences w/ cops myself because I'm careful about what I do but I never see guys in suits that sell drugs get arrested on the show, Cops Just black guys running around in underwear.

theres cops in my neighborhood that go out and bust kids for smoking weed when they werent even causing a ruckus, then they go home and get wasted and beat there wives...kinda makes me dislike them

not all but some abuse their authority, ive been victim of this first hand numerous times....

but obviously not all cops are crooked and without them the world would be a lot more dangerous, but from my experiences i just dislike cops in general

This is a serious dose of truth. There's good Officers and then there's bad cops. Yes, the Officers are just doing their jobs and it's thanks to them you can walk down the street and go to a 7-11 and not worrying about catching a shank in the ass...in most places in the USA. You'll also always have bad cops just like crooked politicians, negligent doctors, and ignorant teachers...people unfit to do their jobs and are just in it for what they can get.

Sometimes, when I'm weeded, it's funny to read some of the 'busted' stories here and the associated, "I hate pigs"..."Fuck the police"..."Anarchy" replies. I've been smoking for some 11, 12 years and have never been busted. I've been harrased by a few bad cops, but marijuana never had anything to do with it or even came up in the discussion. It's all just common sense. If you and your friend go to a PUBLIC park and decided to blaze one and get caught...the Officer or the cop isn't the stupid ass, YOU are. If you and 3 of your friends are rolling around town, smoking weed, and get pulled because someone smelled the weed (and you obviously already look suspect), the Officer or the cop isn't the stupid ass, YOU are.

But yeah...my father was an Officer for years and I learned the difference between an Officer and a cop. Most Officers are pretty cool once you get to know them, even some cops are cool once you get past their dickhead ways. But in every job, you'll always find a few out of the bunch that just don't belong. Such is life.
