Could any body please give me some information my son smokes canabis usualy skunk, at the moment he cant get hold of any so he has got some sputnik, i came home from work 2hrs now ago to find my pug dog of 1yr old wrecked disorentated, wobbly he is asleep on my bed and i am keeping an eye on him my son was a bit upset said that Charlie (pug) had ate a joints worth from under his bed now he shown me about how much he classes as a joints worth which i find is a lot but i dont smoke it will my dog die? should i take him to the vets? thanks for your help xsuecitysue

I would advise you to just keep an eye on him today, the only real problem with dog's ingesting cannabis is the slight chance of inhalation of vomit should he feel a bit off colour. He'll probably have a long snooze and then come looking for a mighty big feed

i would like to thank you both for your replies you have give me a big relief i was dreading taking Charlie to the vets coz hes an old fart that would have gave me 3rd degree lecture and made out my son has poisoned Charlie other than that he is a top specialist vet think ill go and get stonned now ha ha xthanks p.s I THINK YOU HAVE A VERY GOOD SITE FULL OF INFO TO READ WELL DONE TO YOU ALL

be prepared for a day or two of the runs too...it should be starting soon, if it's going to start at all. it's not all that great for dogs but he will get over it after a long snoozy day. keep all the water he wants handy for him and easy to get at.

i know it can be scary when it happens but usually they only do it once, if they're going to do it at all, but it will have no lasting effects.

well sum petz LIKE gettin high but most dunt az they dunt kno y their bodily feelingz r changin. most petz will flip out the first tiome they get high, simply fer the above reason. yer dog shood b fine, he may feel like shit an act unusual fer a few dayz but hell b all good in time. i wood make sure he stayz away frum the shit tho.

thanks TO all of you!!! Charlie ate it at about 2 this afternoon he got up at 9 oclock still wobbly on his feet wont eat tried him with chicken took him in back garden hes now back in my bed while im on computer,Dolly keeps sniffing him and wagging her tail but he is outa space (Dolly is my other pug she is 11 wks younger than Charlie) usualy hes trying to have his way with her shes in season but somehow dont think there will be any pups this time!!!! We was going to breed them this season as its her 2nd
