Keep them. I saw on waytoomany.com a guy that save a shitload of his stems, then put them in a little container and shook them around. When he was done he took all of it out and had enough kief to fill a bowl.
I strongly encourage everyone to take a look at that video. You will NEVER toss your stems away again.
