I've never used a dome for seedlings. Too much chance of damping-off (pythium wilt- a fungus).

I'd take that thing right off if I were you and just make sure the cubes are holding enough moisture.
stinkyattic Reviewed by stinkyattic on . Using Humidity Dome for seeds and seedlings.. Hi again, I'd like to know how long to i keep the seeds germinating in the dome? do i keep it sealed or slightly open. i've read that hum. domes can cause mold and other problems. so i ventilate the dome? Below is the dome i'm using, alone with the rw cubes with bigbud seeds in them that have not sprouted yet. thanks again for all the help.. Redblazin Chick Rating: 5
