Sounds like your friend may have set you up. In SC everyone in the car can be charged with weed if no one claims it. How would the cops have known that you delivered it to him if had kept his mouth shut. I understand him not saying anything was his but why didn't he get charges too. Did the cops say that they were watching you or how did they decide to stop you? How well do you know your friend? I know when I get mine I put it away right away. Was your friend high when you got stopped? That might explain why he didn't put it away properly. In SC you get possession for less than an ass of weed; at least that's what my lawyer tells me. Too many people locked down for BS amounts these days. I would certainly watch my friend to see if he was a snitch and set you up. It just seems too coincidental that he's clean and you are dirty when you both had weed. Whatever you do don't start snitching yourself. Thats FUBAR!
