Re: It grew, now what do I do?

You need to keep your temperatures low(80 degrees max.), and airflow is necessary if you want a big healthy plant.
As for the lights you want at least 150w, be punctually with the lights you dont want to stress your plant. For veg.stage 18on 6 hours off. After you see your plant is healthy then turn the lights 12-12 for flowering.

NOTE: Your plant will double-triple the size in flowering stage.

P.S Read some growing guides and search the forums, that helps alot..

    Glad i can help

    Cheers

Ill send a link if I donâ??t manage it thanx for all your help im off to the garden centre in on hour to get the nutes Skunkme suggested. Now is a fan that necessary? Whatâ??s its use, does airflow make so much difference as I take my plant outside allot. What sort of what bulb am I looking at in watts? once again thanks but after all this effort I just no its gunna be a sodding male! but I can always get some more seeds.

P.S sorry for the barrage of questions its just growing it is probably as much fun as smoking it!
Yes it's necessary. With plants, lack of fresh air + plants = poor growth. So air is important. If you plan on using a HID for flowering in a room with windows though your gonna have to do some construction and block all light from leaking so fresh air through windows wont be an option but a oscillating fan and a squirrel cage fan can be used to keep the fresh air constant. If you plan on keeping your flowering space and vegging space in same room your gonna have to completely block the flowering room from any light possible so your probably gonna need a squirrel cage fan since your flowering room will be closed up most of the time if your not there but if your doin a small grow with seperate rooms a open door and a oscillating fan will be good enough for fresh air.

Re: It grew, now what do I do?

Im off for the fertilisers and as soon as i have bought my light and stuff ill send a picture. But now i have looked at pictures of other plants i realised mine is very stretched so i was thinking when i transfer from one pot to another should i bury the main stem in some soil so its shorter, but more filled out? Or should the lights make new leaves sprout lower down the stem, or will it be ok anyways, as always thanx for advice.

As long as you keep up a good job down the line your plant will recover and make up for the stretching. I've seen it happen before, now you just have to be more cautious .

Just go to a hardware store or a regular retail store like Wal-Mart. They carry CFL's.

dont buy a big hps light either home depot or lowes or whatever big hardware store you have will carry 75 watt hps fixtures for like 50 bucks and you can harvest a nice plant under that.if you get bit by the "bug" and want to have a garden that produces 2 or 3 Os a month than get a big light.good luck:thumbsup:
I wish I had the balls to really grow cannabis but since I don\'t I\'ll just keep talking this fiction.

if you take your plant inside then outside frequently, you should know that growers have bug problems often when they bring outdoor plants in. the bugs that find the plant outside will come inside with it and have nothing else to eat but the cannabis. this might be more of an issue when it approaches flowering, so watch out.

and did you say that "I know the plant canâ??t be sexed until it flowers"?
it was a weird choice of words to me because you are responsible to start sexing, and thus flowering. You prolly know this by now but the plant won't flower unless it thinks winter is coming, so it needs at least 12 hours of continuous darkness daily for flowers to appear. males often flower before that. 3 weeks is pretty young to flower. rule of thumb is 4 to 6 weeks old or when the plant has 4 or 5 internodes or when it's between 8 and 12 inches tall. not all these are necessary conditions, you can usually go off of one

Re: It grew, now what do I do?

Burnable, I understand that the plant can only be sexed when the light pattern changes to mimic that of on setting winter (shorter hours of light); however I do not pretend to have any sort of experience doing this.

I have just re-potted the plant and it looks good, had good healthy roots now the light has been troubling me it may be harder to track down 150-200 watt clf's here in England, hopefully I should be picking one up today (I love payday!). However I think as non-smoker so eloquently put it I think I have been bitten by the bug, what size light am I looking at for 5-6 plants, ill probably buying the seeds off the internet or anywhere I can get them, any suggested strain? Yes and I have noticed aphids on my plant when I bring it on a night which I have picked off, hopefully once I get a light sorted out I can put it in my shed in proper conditions, again thanx for the help and as usually would you mind answering my questions

    Thanx Goldfinch
