Almost there! A Few late flowering questions.
Hey everyone,
I'm working on my first grow and im getting prepared for the last few weeks of flowering. Everything has worked out well so far but I'm a little uncertain as to how I should finish my last week so I was hoping some of the veterans would share some advice, if I sound completely off, please help down the right path, thanks in advance. I've grown in the premixed miracle grow soil, which has worked great, my only complaint being that I can't really cut back on my nutrients. So to clean the plants out the best I can I thought I'd flush for 5 days in a row in the morning the week before harvest. Let me know if you think this will help otherwise i'm open to any flushing suggestions. Finally, I plan on ending flushing about 2-3 days before harvest. My question here is should I leave the lights on for the last 48hrs, leave the plants in total darkness for the last 48, or leave as normal (12/12). I've been doing some research and I've seen all three methods suggested, I'm hoping to find the best one from everyone's experiences.
Thanks alot!BurmeseSkunk Reviewed by BurmeseSkunk on . Almost there! A Few late flowering questions. Leave the lights normal.
12/12
And you need to flush for 3 weeks before harvest.
So start watering with plain phed water now.
And not everyday.
Just when it needs water.

Almost there! A Few late flowering questions.
Thanks alot Jdog, i'll flush less and start sooner.
One more question for everyone.....
When harvest time comes, would it be easier to cut and hang the plants to dry whole and trim later or to clip all the resinous leaves and stems first, dry those in a seperate paper bag(s) for hash, and hang the clean buds to dry??
I have 3 burmese skunk plants, roughly 4 feet each.
Thanks.

I JUST FLUSH FOR 2-3 WATERINGS BEFORE CUTTING. NO WAY TO TELL BEFORE HAND HOW MANY WEEKS TILL KILLING. DON'T FLUSH EVERY DAY FOR THAT MANY DAYS,,, JUST WHEN YOU WATER FOR THE LAST FEW DAYS,, JUST GIVE EM CLEAN WATER. LET EM USE THEM WATER LEAVES YOU LEFT GROWING.
GOOD LUCK

and before you cut, let them dry out (skip the "last" watering) it helps with drying the bud IMO.
