My First Ever Baby...Flowering!! Keeping updates here on out...
Here are the basics:
- Started from bagseed (of random good bud) in a soil cube.
- Sprouted above the soil on May 9th.
- Grew about a week in the starter tray.
- Transplanted to a gallon container
- After about 3 to 4 weeks transplanted to what I think is AROUND a 5 gal. container. It'll finish the grow in this. I like the idea of using buckets outside so I can move them if needed!
- Topped the main cola stem twice, creating 4 tops
- Topped the side branches once, doubling each side branch (except for the smaller ones on the bottm
- Veg. for 2 months...started flowering on July 9th.
-Temps around here have not gone below 70 during the day or above 95 for pretty much the whole grow. Night times are usually in the 60s or 70s. Overall avg I would say 83 degrees during the day, and about 67 at night. Occasionaly storms...which I let water the plants most of the time.
I waited till it was about 3 or 4 weeks until I fertilized it. I usually did half doses every 2 or 3 times watering it. I misted them a lot in the beginning with different mixtures. Water, water and epsom salts, water and ferts. I flushed for 3 waterings when it started flowering. I have since started using flowering ferts.
Veg Fert: Peter's Professional All Purpose Plant Food (I added 1 tsp of epsom salts with this) I think it is 24-16-18 and has almost all the micronutrients except for sulfur and magnesium (hence epsom salts)
Flower Fert: Vigoro All Purpose Plant Food 15-30-15 with all the micronutrients as the Peter's except sulfur and magnesium. I also add a tsp of bone meal to a gallon of water, shake it up a few times a day, and let it sit.... I let them sit open a few days before I use them since I get it from wal mart (hard water), so I try and dissolve some Bone Meal into the water...some of it seems to dissolve so I think Im going to keep doing it.
Concern: It's been flowering a week and 3 days in the pics. I am kinda concerned with the yellow fan leaves. Isn't it kind of early for them to be yellowing?? Could it be N deficiency? Nute lockout? Geesh, theres too many things it could be...annnddd I could just be worrying too much because its my first baby and I dont want to mess it upAny thoughts would be great!!
Any tips would be great also!!
I will add pics from here to the end hopefully. So please give me some tips as I go!!
