Looking for some Ambient Rock (no vocals)

I've got a new found love for vocal-less ambient rock, and it's a little hard to find that in mainstream music. A good example would be these guys:

I happened to do a Theatre Show with their lead guitar (the Fabio lookin' guy) and they got me hooked. If you know of anybody that has a sound like that... Hook It Up!!

When I play guitar, I never add any words into my songs, sometimes I do, but most of the time I don't. At least thats the style I've been playing a lot recently.

explosions in the sky, mogwai, godspeed! you black emperor, a silver mt. zion, just to name some of the more mainstream ones. this is more of post-rock but I think it's what you're looking for. also listen to "mattress" by this great october:
