Can pollen from an old grow affect the new?

I had a feminised plant that went ape and festilised itself. I have loads of seeds. Question 1- will there be pollen remaining in the box to affect my new grow? Question 2- are these seeds good for anything?

answer 1: yes, if pollen escaped, it will be everywhere in your cabinet, and will need a THOROUGH cleaning, and can remain viable more than long enough to screw up your next crop ... answer 2: the seeds, if mature, will be the same as the parentage, although be aware several phenotypes may occur, meaning there may be big differences between the plants from each seed ... (also, seeds from hermaphrodites are considered 'feminized' seeds, which produce only females or more hermies) ... :smokin:

Bleach the whole thing down or rubbing Alcohol

pick the darkest hardest seeds in the batch...especially if you had good genetics to start with.

they may have hermie traits, you just have to watch them...I just recently had eight flowering plants from seed produced by the same circumstances, they were looking good and female, then one day...pooof, pollen sacks on 2 of them...glad I looked, So just watch them close...peace

Thanks. I have hundreds of seeds. Now I think I'll keep them. Thought I would start a new batch of normal Ice seeds. The blueberry turned out to be a very tall plant and I needed to turn the lights at 12". Any suggestions for Ice?

plant it...water it...feed it...give it alot of light and good air!
LOL...and in the end...you will have "ICE"

If you have a chitload o' seeds, then;
Uncle Woody says;
(1)"Keep your strains seperate and only
keep the darkest and hardest seeds in the bunch"...
(2)chitcan; The light soft ones that POP when you squeeze them...psshhhh,gone.
(3)store the good ones in the frig' for longevity...peace
