i need to learn how to clone

    Nice snippet there Orange.

The first clones I did was after what seemed a months worth of reading various methods. Pretty sure I actually paced back n forth a while before sitting down to do it too.

trupothead...ya...that'd be the one I'm referring to. I've since stopped using it in favour for organic root stimulators.

Maybe you watered them too much, maybe even rinse the hormone powder away before the clone made good use of it, instead of just placing them securely in the soil...and a light misting before leaving them alone for a while.

just like the faq says... you should really pay attention to being sterile. This is when the plant is at its absolute most vulnerable. It wasnt until i really got this that I was able to clone with a 99% rate. If your using gel, never dip into the bottle, make sure your scissors or razor are very sharp and clean (use alcohol), make sure you dont specifically handle the area you are rooting from, clean surface, and very little time between cutting, coating, and planting. I dont wear gloves though, I just wash my hands well.

PS. I have always used Clonex gel. Its twice as expensive, but damn it works well.
