Hello from Paris - M.J. Is Legal
Aren't you going a little harsh on someone who apparently is our ally in all this? I think her concern was the possibility of people gaining a sense of false hope. It wasn't guaranteed the case would go that way, and if people had put their resources at this project instead of something else they're more naturally suited for, only to have it fail it would have been demoralizing to activists.
Once the evidence was made clear that it was winning, she shifted her support to the case in question. To me it seems that Alsion and her organization are more experienced on the direct practical aspects of obtaining permits and helping people start coop gardens within the boundaries of Health Canada law. Distributing pamphlets and so forth may be a weak point in that organization, and be too inefficient for them to use unless they have some good evidence it will be successful. And the same for filling out the form letter or whatever it is in the kit.
We need to be good to eachother if we're all on the same team. I realize Alison's probably not active on these boards anymore, but it still bothered me enough I felt compelled to respond.
