Snapping stems during flower is going to stress the plant and force it to put energy into healing itself.

If you accidentally damage a main stem, use a bamboo BBQ skewer and duct tape to splint it back in place.
stinkyattic Reviewed by stinkyattic on . Snapping Stems, does it hurt yield? I searched to try and find a definate answer to this question, but my dumb ass keeps bending my outdoor plant and the stem keeps snapping, I mean i've done this like 3 times and it hasn't effected the plant. Today i bent the main cola stem, and it didn't really snap, but the stem did bend over, and my plant is starting to approach mid flowering stage. What should i do to protect my plant's main cola? Will bending the plant in mid to late flowering stage harm the plant? Thanks a lot. Rating: 5
