Your male is not going to only pollinate the females right near it. It's going to nail everything within flying distance of any bugs around and whatever the wind takes.

Sow your male and female seeds everywhere. There's not much pot growing naturally in the US because there's mostly female plants and people are getting rid of the males. This is the idea - how can the government possibly control a plant if it's growing all over the place? Don't you think these plants used to grow everywhere.
    They did.
And the gov already got rid of them once.
And that was back in the day.
Before all the good weed killer we got now.
Pull the roots and the plant is dead.
Last year they pulled half a million plants out in the hills around my town.
So people are alrady trying this.
    Just to grow.
And it doesn't keep the plants around.
Plus plant a male outside and pollinate your nieghboors sensi plants.
If you pollinated my plant with your male.(say I was your nieghboor)
I would be so pissed at you.
I'd probably never talk to you again.

    So, ok idea.
    But unrealistic.
    Sorry.
You grow your way, I'll grow mine.

Him growing his way does not interferse with you growing your way.

However, you growing your way interferes with everyone else growing our way; that is, sinsemilla.

So I BEG BEG BEG you please don't.

I would not purposely pollinate anyone's female - and I have a very isolated spot for my plants.

    The polline travels miles.
Read and then come back and talk about it.
You don't know what your talkin about.
I I lived near you and my plants got pollinated.
    I would blame you.

    Save the male plants!

when is the pollen extracted? i mean, dispursed, cus i have a few suspectable males.. and i dont want them blowin up before i can shred them..

wat if i cut off the pods?? would that remove the danger so i can continue growing?? it'd be nice decor!

    Save the male plants!

The pollen is released when the pods flop over and open. They look like tiny yellow-green flowers.

Cutting them off would prevent them releasing pollen but it's hard to get them all and really not worth the risk.

You can also spray them with water, neem, or wilt-pruf to make the pollen non-viable BUT THIS IS NOT 100% GUARANTEED TO WORK.

So please everyone just kill your males and save the other growers in your town a big headache. Please?

The seeds will not only grow in that area but will be spread out by animals that eat the plants. Cannabis being a resilient plant would probably take over some areas. You would not have to wait months for a plant to grow - you could just go for a walk and pick some fresh buds whenever you want.
i've thought about this, but whatever you do don't plant them right next to your house. you don't want a cannabis forest nextdoor tipping off the police to funny business
