One sure way to make sure a friend becomes an "old friend" , is to take advantage of them.
I guess asking what others think isnt always a good idea, eh?
You might hear things you dont want to hear.

Whoa friend, you don't even know the whole story. First off, an old friend means my old junky friends, who really weren't my friends. Second, he offered the guitar to me for $200, but the top 3 strings didn't ring out, so I offered him $150, and he accepted.

I didn't take advantage of this person. They wanted money, that minute. Have you ever dealt with a hard drug user? Yeah, I'm going to start preaching to this person and help them. Been there, done that, and hard users are the most stubborn. He was happy about the deal, and so was I.

I'm not here to help the world get off drugs. I didn't rip him off, or treat him like dirt. I offered him a toke and he declined. He was in search for something else, which I could not help him with.

I'm sorry if I have my own life to deal with first then junkies who don't want to quit.

I asked an opinion about the guitar, not about the situation, so if you have something creative to say, ABOUT THE GUITAR, then I'd be glad to hear it, but I did not rip him off or treat him any less than a human. I have my own ass to worry about and my alcoholic best friend who I am trying to save from killing himself. I can't help every person who walks in the world.
