Sounds like a lot of new growers are confronted with the same choices I had. The local stores only carry MG or Peters brand of commerical fertilizers and or soil. You can get by with these, but use 1/4 strenght.

I would like to say that I started from seed in MG and didn't have an issue at all. If you are growing from bagseed...just try it, can't hurt.

I've had eight bag seeds in my whole life ... they aren't THAT common.
