miracle-grow?
I had three small seedlings. I put some miracle grow on them and put them outside. The next day i checked on them they died. Is this because of the miracle grow. What are your comments on using it.

You gave seedlings MG.......Most don't try to feed anyfood until your have them in the vegetative cycle. I would guess your burned them with MG.

Yea you should only leaf feed plants at about 3rd week of veg, but still, overnight death from MG? I doubt it...
Maybe it was a mix of early ferts and bad weather...dunno
they're dead anyway, gutted.

I would like to say that I started from seed in MG and didn't have an issue at all. If you are growing from bagseed...just try it, can't hurt.

If you were like me...mg was unsuccessful for two reasons.
1st...it was the most handy fert around for the ignorant new grower to grab out of the garage. I used their liquid variety btw.
2nd...As a new grower...who hadnt yet found all the gobs of info available in and around here...soon showed me that ultimately I had been burning the piss out of the things.
No doubt mg being far from the best blend of nutrients (chemical by product neon fertz are best avoided imho), combined with me seeing a 3 week old plant suffering some sort of ailment, yea...right at the first signs of over ferting...I did the ''omgosh! something is wrong...I better give it more nutrients asap!'' blunder of blunders, is why mg was set-up for failure from the start.

Garden Knowm say to grow successfully in MG soil, you have to water the plants with water ph'd @ 8.0. I believe this is because the MG soils ph is like 5 or 5.5. There is a thread about it, its called "What does a healthy 2 week old plant look like"
