"we are working in negotiation with the governemnt"


I doubt anybody monitoring ANYTHING online could just suddenly start negotiating with "the government" about a couple kids. Negotiations are traditionally two parties trying to reach an agreement about something with each side trying to make their return in the deal sweeter than it already is. What negotiations would a company and the United States Government have to conduct with kids on an instant messaging system being the focal point. And why are they ALREADY negotiating, within only an hour of the conversation being started, and that is assuming that you have been "monitored" from the beginning which is very unlikely also. So let's say they started monitoring about 30 minutes into the convo, they'd probably watch for like 5-10 minutes before concluding anything wrong is going down. That leaves less than 20 minutes for this company to reach some anonymous government representative and already be in deep "negotiations" about nothing at all.
