    Storage question (s)

Hey everyone, I know it has been a while since I last posted. There was a death in my immediate family, and I am just starting to feel myself again.

Anyway, I have been curing my first grow for about 2 months now (I think).

My question is, for long term storage, I read to just put it in mason jars and keep in a cool dark place... How full can I fill the jars? And will this last, 2-3 years... maybe 5?

Should I vacuum seal it and freeze it instead for real long term?

Now that the reason I was growing has passed on, I need a storage option.

Also I have started grow 2... outside!

Can someone at least tell me how full I can make these jars for long term storage?

    Halfway? 3/4?

    Thanks

    Storage question (s)

I read a rather technical paper on THC potency-vs-storage awhile back ... basically, light is the biggest enemy of THC ... store in the dark ... also, there was a significant improvement of THC levels in pot stored at 36 degrees F, as opposed to room temperature, and a slightly better improvement than that, when frozen ... Bottom Line: store your pot in the refrigerator, it's both cool, and dark ... :smokin:
it\'s disgraceful what the dumbass website owner \'Sundance\' did to this website, it used to be the Best

Hey Reaper... long time no talk!

Thanks for the info. I have put it in mason jars and put those in a brown grocery bag and put it in my drink fridge. I keep this fridge just on the edge of freezing so that when you pull out a tonic, it is damn near ice cold.

It is maybe opened 4 times per month fall, winter & spring... so hopefully this will keep it for several years.
