hi everyone..i dont post here much but ive been lurking for along time..anyway i had this girlfriend i loved more then anything but we broke up two days ago..this is my story, i was with her for a long time and we never kept anything from eachother..but for some reason she thought i quit smoking pot..well it remained that way for awhile because i was to scared to tell her..well i finally did tell her and she just said she was really disapointed in me. later that day she called me and told me she still loves me but alot of her feelings were lost when i told her that and she said she would break up with me if i did it again. then even later that night she called and said her feelings were completly lost which does not make any fucking sence to me because she said she still loved me less then an hour before that so she broke up with me and im trying hard to get over it but she keeps calling and talking to me and flirting with me and my hopes go up that we can get back together but i dont know what to do..help me out please

i can't really help you out, but i feel that i have to tell you that every relationship must have a certain level of trust to work. By her thinking you don't smoke weed, and you being too scared to tell her you do, that's a breech in the wall of trust. Try to avoid those, and be completely honest, even if you feel like it'll hurt your case, because in the end, they'll care more if they know you're telling the truth

That's lame. Why should he have to stop smoking weed? Unless it's harming his grades, hygiene, or hobbies, why should she be disapointed in him?

There's no way that girl's going through college without ONE drink of alcohol, if she hasn't drank or smoke already. Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do if the girl is special enough. But if it's someone you can live without, just say it's lame that she judges people and end it.

Sounds to me like she's been waiting for an excuse to dump you for a while. I would like to think that real love comes without judgement, especially when we're talking about the one substance that was made illegal on no scientific basis, and continues to be illegal with no scientific basis for it being so.

Yeah, I wouldn't really worry about it. If I had a girlfriend that knew that I smoked and didn't like it, and claimed that she loved me, I would be sorta suspicious, because I would think that true love wouldn't really care about something like that.
