Haven't seen the movie, but the book was odd. Remember that Phillip K Dick thought aliens were beaming pink light into his brain. Maybe they were, maybe they weren't- the essence of it is that it's hard to write coherently with pink light waves invading your brain.

I've heard good things, and I love the technique they used in filiming (same thing they used for Waking Life, which everyone should see).

I got that for xmas. Can't wait to watch it.
