hempsmoker25, I have read the book too and really thought this movie would be good like the book. Even more so since George Clooney produced it. It just did not live up to the book at all. Keep your memories of the book and don't waste your cash on the movie!

If you can rent it cheap...it is one of those movies that just never really takes off, you know? The only reason I stuck with it is the animation. It was fun seeing Woody Harrelson animated.
Rent it when you can and tell me what you think. I would be interested in a review from someone who has not read the book.

Ok guys. Just finished watching it and feel totally confused. The movie was hard to follow, how the hell did he watch himself on the moniters and not realize it was himself? Were the roomates talking about the secret cameras in the house, how the hell did they know and not seem to care? What was that whole conversationa about with the note on the door? WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT ABOUT????!

Ok guys, just finished to movie. What the hell? I totally didn't get it. How did Bob watch himself on the moniters and not realize it was himself? How the hell did the roomates know there were cameras in their house watching them, but not do anything about it? What was that whole conversation about the note on the door about?

His friends were just always in a paranoid state because of the D...so they really did not know the cameras were there. The note on the door was silly. He said he left the note on the door saying come in as a trap because he didn't feel anyone WOULD actually come in and then when they saw someone DID come in they were all paranoid. I kinda thought that part was funny.

He didn't watch himself on the monitors. He watched them but there was another cop in one of those suits that watched them all.

They were actually seeing if they could trust him enough to get him to spy on the company that got people off of D which was really the company that was making it. Does any of this make sense? I am probably not explaining it very well.

You guys didn't like it? I personally loved the movie... all 4 of the main characters did really well in their acting, even Keanu Reeves, who I don't always enjoy in every film.

I liked the story too, and the overall mood of the movie... I guess for some people it gets kinda confusing but I liked it. Good points to laugh at too.

Maybe I'm just different, but I personally recommend it for anyone who likes to pay attention to somewhat-convoluted storylines.

Aw ok that makes sense now. Except the part about himself not watching himself. Wasn't he allways in the scramble suit watching the recordings in his house like where the guy was choking and when he did that chick. Also the part where that random chick turns into that other girl, and shows it on the camera's to, he was just tripping right?

Yeah I saw it was good, but it's not a movie I'd watch stoned. I don't know, to me it's kind of an anti-drug movie. Not in a big way but it's such a downer it kind of is better to watch sober. Maybe watch it stoned the second time or something.

    Winona Ryder is fine.
