I see Chinese letters. No squares here.
I heard Chinese was really hard to learn compared to English. Or maybe it was the other way around?

you don't have the language installed on your computer, that's why they're squares...

If you really want to be able to communicate effectively in Chinese, you need to master the four basic tones. Look it up on the internet. I know if you google, "Learning Chinese Online" an amazing website comes up as one of the results that is full of valuable resources for learning.
Itsaplant...Yes, Chinese is a difficult language to learn. It really just requires alot of practice and patience as with anything else worth studying.
Might I add that my Chinese grammar is not always so fantastic so I apologize in advance for any mistakes I make.
In Chinese they call hemp or marijuana: 大麻 (da4 ma2).
But I heard if you yell, "Yo! Homeboys I need some of 'dat fire.", it will also be understood in the greater Shanghai/Pudong region.
