Well, I dry for a week in the big cabinet, with the fans going to give good airflow, and with the lights off. After it's all dry, then I do the manicuring, clip the trim leaves off and separate the buds. Then they go into mason jars, and for the first week I open the jars daily for an hour or three. After the first week I watch for accumulating moisture inside the jars and if there is any, that jar gets opened up for an hour that day. After 7 weeks in the jars, the jars go into the refrigerator. Nothing fancy or complicated in the curing process.

I read that water-curing works quicker, but drains all the good smell out of the buds and makes 'em look like shit. I like nice-looking, good-smelling buds, so I'm not even going to try water-curing. The only downside to the jar method is the eight weeks it can take to cure them fully, but I can live with that.
