Poor little kitty. He's essentially a craniopagus conjoined twin (joined at the head) only the rest of the second body didn't develop. Seems a simple enough explanation, but thank goodness that is rare.
birdgirl73 Reviewed by birdgirl73 on . Kitten born with two faces WOAH!! for reals?? The kitten was born Wednesday with two mouths that meow in unison, two noses, and four eyes that haven't opened yet. Two other kittens were born in the same litter, but this was the only one born with two faces. Dr. Shane Bateman with the Ohio State University Veterinary Hospital said a two-faced kitten is extremely rare and there is no real explanation as to why it would have happened. Rating: 5
