I have just realized..
IMO it's just something different from your normal life, a change that can help you forget about little worries in life and appreciate simpler things
it's basically "ignorance" towards traps that our mind can fall under when our sober point of view becomes the only thing we know and nothing new is upon the horizon, much like childhood is an experience we all wish we had back: ignorance towards anything but having fun at the present time while learning alot about life and yourself in the process, unknowingly. and when i say "ignorance", it's not meant to be how some may preceive it, it's not a negative thing.
but this is just my point of view at this current time, i'm coming down from a slow and constant high i've had by smoking all day long. if i wasn't coming down, or if i was high, or if i was sober the whole day, I probably would've typed a bunch of different stuff that could add up to a different opinion altogether. which means in all these stages that smoking or not smoking can put my mind through, i know that in all these stages my point of view will be different. and having a different point of view is a great thing, which is alot easier to have under the influence of something, even if while completely sober you think different things could be funny in your point of view, you can try to take on a different point of view but it is just hard, even if you have fooled yourself into thinking that you can view different things from different perspectives fully, you probably can't
basically what i'm trying to say is that substances like weed release you from things you already know and have grown to accept, that chain your mind to the ground, and it allows you to wander freely, changing your own perspectives and getting the chance to change situations you might not have even known needed changing, because you've been seeing things from your own one perspective for so long you don't realise that just because you are used to something doesn't mean it can't be changed for the better. i'm really going on here and i dont know if expanding on my dribble can help you further understand or send you further down a hole of confusion, but it's been fun and goodnightlagstronaut Reviewed by lagstronaut on . I have just realized.. I have just realized that the experience of marijuana is most closely explained by the fact that it, simply, turns us into animals. You're not just "getting high." You're traveling psycologically (and sometimes psysologically) into the past. You are literally regressing into a simpler creature. A child, a mammal, a lizard. We go through these stages where we simply crave sustenance in a mindless, needing way, just as animals much feel...not much level of thought, just a simple desire.
