hey... im pretty new to this site, although i have used some small grow chambers just like yours. oddly enough the same dimensions too.. mine was a "band-pass" box for 2-10" speakers, i had a 30W 24" plant gro-lux tube and i had 2 30cfm 80mm. computer case fans mounted to the port holes.... ill be honest, it kept temp perfect @ 74'F but it was hard to manage and it was a hassle because after the first month theyre too tall and the light cant be evenly distributed because of the plant in the way, and you will PROBABLY have to move them because of size (depending on the strain)
just alittle insight from a friend

16" Pizza Pan - $4.99
4-outlet Ceiling fan fixture $4.99
4-26 watt CFL mini lights - $2.00 after rebate
White posterboard (3) - $.22/each
Power cord - hacked off of something I had around
Thats the parts list - for temps I haven't seen above 78, but its in an airconditioned room, right over a vent.. I take the top off for ~ 15 mins a day to help exchange air. The only problems I have had with it are humidity - the posterboard on the sides has gotten very wet after feeding, so I change it every few weeks so mold won't grow. Theres a no pest strip in the bottom of it to combat any undesirables. I have a smaller version I use to hold mommies (1 26w cfl).. Then I put her in here for ~ a week to give her a boost before taking new clones
roughly 85 watts/sqft, it vegs 6 or so nicelyWe CAN stamp out Glaucoma in our lifetime

Are you going to be able to take them out of the box to LST and feed them? If you are starting with seeds, its gonna be tough to have enough room in there for a bunch of them to veg waiting for sex to show..You could switch the lights to 12/12 as soon as they are on the 2nd set of leaves - then the males will show in about ~ 3 weeks or so.... Once you find the males, get rid of em and set lights back to 24/0 (or 18/6) and veg the females for a few more weeks til you can clone them.. But you are running out of room quickly now.. How many seeds do you plan to pop? No way you can get clones huh? Are you going to be able to keep a mommy separately - for clones for future generations? if not then SOG is going to be near impossible.

Thanks - I was thinking cheap, easy and cheap... hehe.. it'd be nice to have a few different "cans" going though, to help maintain a perpetual harvest as well as store mommies

hey.. check out my posts, when i did a few plants- in the basic grow section, they were earlier posts, they have pics..
also check out my setup pictures- i had drawn images, similar to yours.. they may be more effecient or help urs to become more effecient.. but to let you know, 23w CFL wont produce much.. they'll definitely get your kid started tho..
line the top with 2 rows of (6) 25w fullspectrum CFLs... and put 25w between, sticking out on the sides.. may take up space, so u can modify the idea to accomdate your needs..
