I say let the opinions fly... However, I have noticed some tedium in the political threads.

For example:

Conservative Post: I believe God is working through George Bush and anyone that doesn't support George Bush is an anti-American, tree hugging, gay loving, liberal, terrorist... and they're going to hell.

Conspiracy Response: George Bush is really Adolf Hitler... you can tell because there's a symbol of an eagle beside him. Adolf loved eagles.

Liberal Response: Eagles are endangered. There's billions of them about to unthaw from the ice caps because of global warming...

Libatarian Response: We don't need eagles or George Bush. Everyone should know that; don't be stupid.
