Torog, when you read this thread in the morning, you may start hating me. I sure hope not! But i've had all day to think about that picture above. And then here's this. I just was on another thread where someone named American Terrorist posted some pics that really were inflammatory to Muslims. And who was the next poster but an Islamic person who truly did take offense at them. And rightfully so.

Now I don't think your visual above is the same thing as the five pics he posted. And I respect your right to have created it and posted it. I love the questions above the picture because they're right on as far as asking what needs to be asked. They're also wickedly funny! But the part I worry about is the treatment of the word Islam with the swastika and stuff. I think about all the peace loving, religiously tolerant Islamic folks I know and love and have worked with. Then I think about that other thread I mentioned. Then I try and put myself in their shoes looking at the graphic treatment of Islam in your pic. Anyway, after I though about it again, it made me uneasy, and I knew I wouldn't sleep unless I unburdened my heart about it.

You're a great and considerate gentleman, Torog. You've always been that way in your dealings with me and with others that I've seen. I think the world of that. I think that's why I felt comfortable raising the sensitivity question here because I know you to be a sensitive, considerate man. Maybe I'm just being over-sensitive myself. I start thinking of world events being so touchy now, and I reckon that's probably what makes me that way.

That is what im doing is steering around him. I was trying to ignore him, but he is like that guy in the halls that when you walk by him he gives you a shoulder check. I just told him i didnt like his shoulder check. No curse words no profanity...... Just Please leave me alone.... Im trying BG.

I enjoyed that! It's funny and sarcastic and a very effective message. But somehow it's still not mean-spirited except that it points to their mean-spirited attitudes. Which makes it even better!

Did you make that? I'm in awe of your abilities with graphic design and photographs. I'm not very good at those sorts of things, so I'm always very admiring when others are.

Very nice work. I'm glad I've at least figured out how to click on these graphics to enlarge them. I can't find my glasses, and so unless they're enlarged, I can't see them at all. Ah, the joys of middle age.

Well, as you probably read from my subsequent post, I worried that peace-loving Muslims might be troubled by the very bottom of that graphic--the word Islam with the swastika. But I still think all the questions that it asks are funny and wicked.
