its a classic middle school/high school fad for them to hate eachother. Its worse when you're young. Generally as people get older, they mature and the problems fade. Mostly its that skateboarders feel people who roll are pussies because the skates are attached to our feet. They think that it makes inline hella easy and dont like it when inline gains attention or popularity. On the flip side the people who roll think think its dumb as hell for all the kids to claim how cool they are because they carry around a skateboard but cant even do any tricks. Most also dislike the popularity of skateboarding compared to the social taboo that is inline. Again thats really just the case when you're young. I have no problem with skateboarding, just the skateboarders in some cases.
