legalization of colorado

hi all. as some of you may know, the group SAFER(saferchoice.org) was able to get the legalization issue on the ballot and the voters made it legal in the city of denver last november.

well, they are at it again, this time shooting for statewide. we currently have over 50,000 signatures, but THIS IS NOT ENOUGH!!! we still need over 13,000 signaturess and there are only a few weeks left before they have to get turned in, so if you live in, or know someone in colorado that has not yet put their name on the petition to get it on the ballot,

i always wondered about this, like how is it letgal?? what age do u have to be and how much are u allowed to have and let me guess, u can only smoke it in private????

It's good to see that the activism taken is making some progress. Unfortunately I don't live in Colorado so there's not really much I can do to help

It might sound "stupid" before you put any thought into it, but once you actually think about it its not stupid at all.

You are allowed to possess up to an ounce without any penalty. Its a way of creating a more lenient marijuana regualation, while still placing penalties upon drug dealers and cultivators. I know a lot of people are all for completely legalizing Marijuana, but that would just be an absolute mess. There has to be some regulation over Marijuana, and the best way to control that is to target the source, so the users are not penalized.
