    FDA, USA, BAYERS AND AIDS!

Yes, we can! I actually enjoy that.

So people bring up the Crusades when they want to say bad stuff about Christians? I guess I've never heard that. I'd have to put some verbal hurtin' on anyone who did that around me. Christians are alright! (I feel the same way about other religions and also atheists/agnostics, too. I think freedom of beliefs is one of the wonderful things about where we live, and folks need to respect others' beliefs.)

Yikes, I tremble to think about what would happen to someone considered a Satan-worshipper in Saudi Arabia. Actually, the real hard-liners over there would already consider you and me to be Satanic infidels just for having Christian beliefs. That's very sad and scary, isn't it?

    In response to the thread.

The last time I checked there were no statutes of limitation of murder in the United States, which is exactly what is intended when you knowingly give another human being a death sentence, especially a kid who has his trust in you to help him.

It doesnt matter to me what part of the world it occurred in.

It is the intention behind the act and those intentions dont care whether it is 20,000 miles away or next door.

I dont care whether this happened 20 years ago or yesterday nor does this universe we live in. Time is irrelevent to your acts.

The fact is they knew that it was tainted with aids and went ahead and sold it to several foreign countries anyway and were told by the FDA to keep quiet about it according to Joe Scarborough.

These sons of bitches have karma over there head no different than the CEO of Enron, Ken Lay, no different than the BTK serial killer, no different than Scott Peterson, Jeffery Dahmer, etc, etc and I can make you a list a mile long of people who thought they were getting away with it.

It comes around believe me. You dont get away with anything.

No body walks out of this world with anything but their soul, not their millions, not their fancy cars, mansions, yachts, status or percieved power.

Those intentions effect their choices and those choices will affect their soul.

There is nothing any of these people involved in this can do because nothing goes unseen in this world. It doesnt matter what corporate individual or secondary entity was involved.

Each person that knew and profited or had the power to stop it has made a horrible choice.

[QUOTE=birdgirl73]Marlboro, I didn't take your direction as an insult. Condescending, perhaps, since you compared the divergence of the thread to your kids.QUOTE]

Not the divergence Birdgirl, what I was refering to was, instead of Bong stateing his views in a articulate manner he made an attack then changed the subject. Allot like my kids do.

    EX:

    Me- "what happend here?"
Kid- "She hates me!" (personal attack)
Kid- "Yesterday she hit me!" and then, and then, and then, and then(subject change)

Sorry for the confusion, I could have stated my own opinion in a clearer fashion.

Altho my example is very simple, at its core its the same cycle of conversation. Oh, and you all fell for it!

Now, this is a very interesting question Birdgirl!

Why is it being brought up now?

If it had its day in the 80's, which I'm takeing your word on it, its illogical to bring it up now.

As I type this tho it brings to mind something I saw while watching fox news.

While discussing Katrina, and the flooding, they were mixing in video of Chernoble with video of New Orleans.

I still have no idea why they would bring Chernoble up, but were giveing death stats and injury reports from Chernoble on the ticker at the bottom, all the while discussing Katrina.

Maybe they have a shortage of news events to report, i mean its got to be hard with a whole channel running 24/7 to fill all that time with news.

I really dont know, but it smells funny, looks funny, and its leaving a strange taste in my mouth.
