In two weeks I'm saying goodbye to this job. Two weeks after that, I'm starting medical school at the ripe old age of 44. It's what I've always wanted to do, and now's a good time since they accepted me. I'm starting to get very nervous about the big changeover. But for the next eight years or so, school and/or residency will be my job. I can freelance-write if I want to make extra money, but fortunately my husband is successful and so I probably won't do that.

Funny you mention freelance writing...I am trying to get my foot in the door right now writing stories primarily about travel experiences in Asia. Can you offer any suggestions?

Thanks! :smokin:
