seed advice
I have a lowryder, pollinated to the hilt, some of the seeds are black/brown with lepord dots on them. (to me they look perfect finished seeds) but trying to germinate them after pulling them off my plant is proving to be tricky. Now, how do you know if the seed is ready? the brown/black are bearly attached to the plant anymore but there are still loads of brown/yellow seeds left on the plant. The plant is 3 weeks overdue now and is starting to fade but i am too scared to chop it. And even when the seeds are brown/black with dots do they still need time to get them selves together ready for germination? Lights have been on for 2.5 months 24h constant. i am 100% happy with the grow so far...but...
its taken me this long to get seeds, now i must make sure i finish the proccess correctly so i have 100s of kick ass seeds. If there is any one out there that has succsessfully grown seeds that work let me know.-but- If you have read somthing or heard somthing i dont want to know. Must of had hands on experiance with seeds!! if i chopped it now i reckon 70% seeds would be black/brown. But i dont know weather they would grow.....
Also can you germanate a seed within days of it coming off the plant.
i have searched for seed information on tinternet but cannot find anything. Ok so seeds need at least 1 month to dry after harvest. Where should you store the seeds to allow them to dry? I have mine in a tupperware box in the window ledge not in direct sunlight. They were in the fridge untill my brain started to work. Is there a quick way to dry seeds?? My grow room is on hold and has been for some time coss of these drying seeds. Need to start growing again.
A food dehumidifier has been sugested. What about keeping them in a plastic bag outside in the sun? Or is that just stupid!?
