Full scale war in the Middle East?

Israel and the Middle East - Apparently full scale war is imminent.

Here are some facts you might not yet know...

Iran's military has been put on high alert.
Syria's military is also on high alert.
Lebanon has begun moving troops south towards their boarder with Israel.
And of course, Israel has called up all of its reserves and is moving troops north towards Lebanon, saying that they just may march all the way through it.
Iranâ??s national security adviser is now in Damascus.
Iran has stated that any attack against Syria will be considered an attack against Iran.
Israel is blaming Iran for instructing Lebanon (and of course Syria as well) to open a "second front" AGAINST Israel to draw pressure off of the Gaza invasion.

Its been rumored that Israel is using chemical weapons against the Palistinians.

Israel has stated that it is at war. Its citizens living in its NORTHERN BOARDER have been ordered in to bomb shelters.

Bush has said that Israel must do what ever it needs to do to protect itself.

Syria has stated the Israel deserved the attacks its taken from Hezballah... Syria is accused of backing these attacks.

Israel has just stated that its about to under take extreme measures if necessary to return its safety.

I've been sitting here for the last five min trying to put my thoughts into words(as I watch CNN reporting on this)...

It's time the US got out of the Middle East.
They have been fighting for almost 2000 years.
We (The U.S.) are getting hammerd for our middle east "Policies"
No treatys have have stood the test of time.
No one has ever found a peacable solution to this.
It's Costing a fortune!!
The U.N has been Totally useless on this
and we have no need for WW III!!!

And it has cost the lives of 2537 folk just like one might find on this board!!

Just heard the other night on the news that the leader of Iran said,

"soon there will be a very large explosion in Isreal"

i.e. I take that to mean another nuke threat.


Bad move should it occur. It could set off a chain reaction with other countries.

How would we (The U.S.) feel if the rest of the world said "We are gonna give Rhode Island to (Insert oppresed Group Here), and we are not gonna pay you for it,you MUST move all people living there out,you have no choice,Sorry!!

This is what the U.N. did in 1947 to Palistine to create Isreal! A very Kneejerk reaction to the Holocost and WW II!! and some wonder why they are pissed??

Good point! This escalation is over a single captured soldier....? Bull shit! I said it when this first broke out and I'll say it again, the U.S. is using the Jews to justify supporting or conducting preemptive strikes against Iran.

Yesterday Rumsfeld said more troops were needed in Iraq to deal with the insurgents.
