I think they can do alright based on this:
    http://www.globalfirepower.com/count...?country_id=23
Compare countries and tell me who in the middle east is going to take them out?

Not to mention that they DO have nukes.

Psycho4Bud Reviewed by Psycho4Bud on . Full scale war in the Middle East? Israel and the Middle East - Apparently full scale war is imminent. Here are some facts you might not yet know... Iran's military has been put on high alert. Syria's military is also on high alert. Lebanon has begun moving troops south towards their boarder with Israel. And of course, Israel has called up all of its reserves and is moving troops north towards Lebanon, saying that they just may march all the way through it. Iranâ??s national security adviser is now in Damascus. Rating: 5

Who made all that technology available to them? They would be just as weak militarily as the rest of the middle east if it weren't for the U.S. We allowed them to develop in that manner.

I will have a good one, thanks. You do the sameimp:

edit: some of those numbers are pretty frightening. China is a friggen monster.

Do a lil' research on who gave them nuclear technology...wasn't the U.S.! Viva La France....

Operation Sampson states that in case of imminant defeat...they turn the whole middle east into a glass parking lot. If it weren't for the U.S. playing the part of big brother...........

No kidding? Even more incentive for the U.S. and U.N. to backoff and let the chips fall where they may.

Full scale war in the Middle East?

On 3 October 1957, France and Israel signed a revised agreement calling for France to build a 24 MWt reactor (although the cooling systems and waste facilities were designed to handle three times that power) and, in protocols that were not committed to paper, a chemical reprocessing plant. This complex was constructed in secret, and outside the IAEA inspection regime, by French and Israeli technicians at Dimona, in the Negev desert under the leadership of Col. Manes Pratt of the IDF Ordinance Corps.

One list of current reasons for an Israeli nuclear capability is:

To deter a large conventional attack,
To deter all levels of unconventional (chemical, biological, nuclear) attacks,
    To preempt enemy nuclear attacks,
To support conventional preemption against enemy nuclear assets,
To support conventional preemption against enemy non-nuclear (conventional, chemical, biological) assets,
    For nuclear warfighting,

Israel's in a tough position here. If they just let extremist groups kidnap their soldiers and lob missiles into their cities, their citizens get pissed, and their enemies get bolder and the attacks on them get worse. So they *have* to do something. And since the Lebanese government has basically zero control over the extremists running amok in their country, Israel can't just ask politely if the Lebanese government would please keep people inside their country from lobbing missiles and staging attacks from their territory - the Lebanese government can't do anything about it.

Put yourself in the position of the Israelis. Let's say some extremists in Mexico start staging attacks into U.S. territory and kidnapping and killing people, and lobbing missiles at our southern cities. We ask the Mexican government to make these people stop doing it, but they say (and it's true) that there's nothing they can do. Do you think the U.S. would just shrug it off, and say, "Okay, sorry you can't do anything about it, so we'll just be peaceful and watch the missiles blow up our cities, no big deal, we have other cities." Hell no, that wouldn't happen; the U.S. would go kick some ass and either make the attacks stop, or eradicate the attackers entirely.
The U.S. and Israel pushed this button in the hopes of provoking Iran directly. I'm not a conspiracist, but let's get the events in order. One Jewish soldier was kidnapped by Hamas, and Israel uses disproportionate force. Yes, they have enemies and these enemies have a legitimate bitch with the Jews.

Hell, I've got a bitch with the Jews and my own U.S. government...

It all started on July 12 when Israel troops were ambushed on Lebanon's side of the border with Israel. http://www.atimes.com/atimes/Middle_East/HG15Ak02.html

"The detention of Hamas parliamentarians in the early hours of Thursday morning had been planned several weeks ago and received approval from Mazuz on Wednesday. " http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/732528.html

See, now that you know that doesn't it make sense that we should all work together to exterminate the Muslims?
