 RO waterYes you still should use CalMag plus. It's not a buffer it replaces nutrients and minerals the RO process removes but the plant still needs. 
 
 It's always a good idea to use CalMag Plus when you RO water for anything.

 RO waterwhere the heck can you get a decent priced RO machine from? From what I have seen, they are through the roof. Not worth it in my book...
