    Yes you still should use CalMag plus. It's not a buffer it replaces nutrients and minerals the RO process removes but the plant still needs.

    It's always a good idea to use CalMag Plus when you RO water for anything.

    where the heck can you get a decent priced RO machine from? From what I have seen, they are through the roof. Not worth it in my book...

    Ok, now that I have found them to be affordable...which one is the best? Meaning, I dont have to buy the filters everytime I wanna use it...the whole point of buying the hardware is so I can be done with buying. I dont wanna spend 200 on a machine that I later find out needs a ($20) filter change after ever 10 gl of water cleaned. Kinda defeats the purpuse dont cha think? In-addition, I still am not sold on RO water vs. tap...I am not ignorant to the particles in our drinking water, but you have to buy an RO machine, then re-add some of the micro-nutes you just took out of the "dirty water" to make it useful for the plants?? lol...see my point here??

    So sell me, please...
