If the tar found in cannabis smoke was as harmful for you as that found in tobacco smoke that would be a valid argument. I really don't know about the butane/paper issue really though, sorry.
Sun Is Shining Reviewed by Sun Is Shining on . inhaling butane vs. inhaling paper I generally smoke bowls rather than joints, and even then I try not to keep the flame on it for very long (ending up with smaller hits), but I'm wondering... how bad is it for you really to inhale the butane gas from a lighter? Now I suppose you could say that joints/blunts nearly eliminate that problem, since you usually only have to light it once. But then you have the problem of inhaling a lot of paper, or in some cases tobacco leaves. I'm wondering which option is worse for you. Joints Rating: 5
