Beginner Here few questions!!

Hey I plan on growning soon and I have a few questions before I start!!!

Here I go first what type of soil should I use???? I plan on growing outdors and I found a place in the woods where no one goes is it easy to smell the weed as it grows??? What should I do to keep out bugs, because I hear that insect spray kills off your plants. How much do I water my plants???. How many seeds do I put in the pot at the beginning? and Do I need to use miracle grow or any spray fert on my plants??? Thanks to all that can help me out!

Good, fertile, well-drained soil. Lots of nice composted organic materials in it- humus, manure, seaweed, chicken poo- you name it. Plus a lightener like perlite, vermiculite, or even coarse sand so your roots can breathe. If you're in the woods, sand is least obvious.

If you're in the woods keep an eye on how much sunlight you get. And watch out for animals that eat tender plants.
Smell depends on strain. Some smell stronger, some smell but not much until flowering. If there's no one around, that's better.

What should I do to keep out bugs,

Lots of ways to do this. I always recommend neem as a good prevention. But outdoors it is inevitable that you get some bugs.

No worries, that's not true. I mean, don't use like Deep Woods Off obviously! Use a plant spray for edible plants, and don't use any insecticide close to harvest.

How much do I water my plants???.

When they seem dry. Stick your finger into the dirt to check.

Only one per pot.

Miracle Grow is not recommended.
You don't NEED to spray (foliar feed) your plants, but lots of people like to. Just use REALLY good soil and when you water your plants, give them some fertilizer too.
These boards have lots of fert info, like when to give it, how strong, etc.

Just a note, it's late in the year to be starting an outdoor grow from seed. You only have until mid- September to grow big! Then after that, you only have until frost to develop buds.

oh yea does it matter where you live because I am in florida and it is pretty hot and humid and it doesn't get cold here until like december and there is no frost i live in northern florida, by the way how big of a pot should I buy just for personal use, right after the seeds have started sprouting out of the soil when do I begin watering and should I wait before I put the pot into the woods, or let it sprout more?? and does one seed count as one plant?

germinate your seeds first..then put them in styro\foam cups..thats what i did..had 100% of seeds root.....look up germination on this site..and read about it...read read read...thats my input
