please, please don't watch TV, movies, or play video games when you're tripping. That lame practice has got to stop. That's not what tripping is for.

Or at least limit yourself. Even when stoned, what's the use of all the electronic shit? Whatever happened to the great outdoors?

Music is okay though.

As far as the room goes, I recommend getting some large, wall-sized tapestries, maybe some blankets and/or rugs with interesting patterns, such as a native american style. A nice rug would be really cool if you can get one cheap. Having lots of things made out of cloth is sweet.

If you play music, then always keep your instrument(s) on hand.

hmm what else? For tripping, never underestimate the power of reserving a place in your room for meditation. Cushions (called zafus) are not that expensive, and you'll be glad you made the investment once you need a little spot to chill, trust me. Maybe I'm just weird, but I think your body will find it to be the most natural sitting posture at times when you need to turn off your mind for a while.

I am a sophmore in college, and am required by my school to live in the dorms yet another year. I am living in a single room, and have decided to make it my mission to make the absolute best smoke/trip/chill room, we (my friends and I) smoke quite a bit and trip on mushies time to Rating: 5
