Wow so things definately got heated up quick in this thread.
It's a very long string of events that have come full circle now. It started ( and this is an irresputable fact) when land was taken from the palestinians and given to Israel. Granted, most of the neighboring countries hate Israel and do attempt to drive them away at EVERY FUCKING TURN.
What it all boils down to is a very overt fanatiscm, coupled with a valid land dispute and a couple o' nuts thrown in the mix. The soldiers from Israel SHOULD NOT have been in Lebanon- they breeched borders and were captured, not abducted. I highly doubt that these two soldiers were strolling through Lebanon, reading tourist brochures about local fishing contests when the "bad men" came and swept them away. A good parallel to this is when the US soldiers were in china because of that spy plane crash. Yes, they were held captive, but they also got there in a spy plane. SPY PLANE. Doesn't hold up very well in an argument:
" China, we're going to beat you up because you've got our friends locked in a bedroom at your mom's house"
" They were in the house already. I just locked the door."
" Oh. Care for a cup of coffee?"

I assume you get my point at this point. They ( conflicted middle eastern countries in general) are in a metaphorical hell-hole because they all believe that they own something, and that their god said that they're right, you're wrong, and you smell funny. Mother Earth is here for us all, you can't really prove that it's yours. Chill.
