Female smokers?

alot of my family's friends are female tokers but most are older hippies in their 50's

I am a female in my 20s... been smoking weed regularly for several years... now what surprises me is that all smokers i meet and have met are all male (bar two, both of whom have quit by now) and all of them have expressed their surprise that i smoke. apparently none of them have ever met a girl/woman who is into smokin', especially not on a regular basis. And if they're not that surprised to meet a woman who smokes, they almost faint when they see me roll joints backwards :o And no, these Rating: 5

all of my friends that are girls smoke. maybe things in the uk are different though. anyway you probably are just with a different crowd. even in the states, most of the girls i meet are pot heads. but then again, when i started smoking most of my stoner friends were guys (oh by the way im a girl, and im 18) but that was about 5 years ago...
idk - go to a rave. all the girls there are stoners.

i know a few, hell, this gas staiton attendent smoked weed, and she wanted me to go out with her douter who also smoked weed, my current girl friend smokes weed, my real sister smokes, my step mom, my metaphoric sisters smoke(like 3) and my best friend in the world smokes, and also a good friend that i just rescently started hanging out with, smoked me out the first day we met

depnds on who you hang out. you meet potheads, they introduce you to their pothead friends, and eventually youll find all sorts of stoners.

i know three girls that buy weed themselves and smoke regularly. my girl roomate smokes with me whenever she's home and i am smoking, but i wouldn't consider her a true smoker in the sense because she has no weed, paraphenilia, etc. i love it when girls smoke, especially good looking ones, because then thats at least one thing we have in common!

i dont get why it's such a shocker when girls smoke a ton of weed. hell i used to deal it back in my high school days. and i know plenty of other girls who deal/have dealt. its not that big a deal. i mean, im sure more guys smoke than girls do. but, when people act extremely shocked because "oh heaven its a girl who smokes a lot of weed" it makes me feel like girls are supposed to be inferior on the whole stoner totem pole thing. not that there is one, but you get what im saying.

i probably dont make a bit of sense. im high.

Is this true? I know there are some females on this board, but I was wondering, generally, do you guys come across female smokers a lot, or is it a bit of a novelty?
Supposedly it's pretty cool though so I'm not worried

there're lots of female tokers out there, you're just gonna have to look for them. it depends on what kind of crowd you're in too. i knew someone from my film class who smokes but didn't find out till the end of the semester when after casting her in a pot referenced film project, we finally realised we enjoy a bit of herb every now and then. i also had a production assistant who smokes but it's usually me getting to smoke her out more than she did on me and i don't mind at all. i use to hang out with a group of people who passed the occasional joint and there seems to be more women than men. i noticed that the pot influenced conversations exchanged with these women are more rational than with guys, which happens to be too far out.
