I met William Shatner once at a WorldCon, in the hospitality suite where he was getting soused because of marital difficulties. He was kinda too drunk to really have a conversation with, but I let him talk in my direction until I got bored, which didn't take long.

I was at Phil's book signing in San Francisco. What a nice person.
Being that friends of mine run the Fillmore in San Francisco, i have been able to meet many musicians, collect many autographs and guitar picks, and toke a number on a tour bus or two.
All of the autographs i have mean a lot to me, but my favs are..
