yea man a lot of scientists and modern philosophers believe that dmt might be the cause of dreaming. Its proven dmt is in the brain but we really dont know what it does. I personally believe it plays a roll in death rather than dreaming. I think dreaming is the effect of sensory deprivation.

As i was talking to a friend, i thought what if our bodies are just being used as a passage for the spirits (or whoever) to speak to each other not actually ourselves. And getting stoned sort of takes us out and allows us to see whats going on.
