Any other people who just don't like drinking?

People can't even confront the issue because to you, it seems like everything is exultant, and you don't have the cognitive ability to recognize that others see it radically different. This is avoided when everyone's drunk, but people have different tolerance levels, so even then it's typical.
I like liquor, though. No drink is more civilized to me than a gin on rocks or gin & tonic. A martini with dry vermouth instead of sweet hits the spot also. I like to be able to taste the alchohol in its entirety. If it's diluted too much in sweet mixtures you sometimes don't realize how much alcohol you're imbibing and you cross the threshold of self-control in ignorance.
I'll sum up by saying when I get together with friends, it's not really a party unless there's both alcohol and herb. However, I religiously avoid people who aren't themselves when drinking and can't remember what happened when you talk to them the next day
