a long freaking day

about 36 hours ago, i smoked the last 6 or seven one-hitters i had left, after not smoking all day.i smoked them to try to get some sleep. when i woke up this morning, i didnt have my customary wake-and bake in a long long time. i just felt like shit all day. i felt queasy, i couldnt eat, i was breaking out in sweats all day. i was very jumpy. all in all, just in a shitty mood. i had to go in to work at an odd hour, and work a stupid four-hour shift. well, i saw the guy i wanted to see when i got there. he finally had a minute to give me what i had asked for a few days ago. i just got home from work, and smoked a nice little joint. i feel fucking great. i'm laughing again.
the question is. are there any other hardcore(and i mean hardcore) pot-heads out there who feel generally bad when they have to go without? if so what do you experience on these days? i've been smoking 3 or 4 times a day for a little over 5 years, as far as i can remember.
