well if there aren't any windows you can open then the smoke isn't going to go anywhere in a hurry is it? lol is there any air vent though? they could help get rid of smoke but keep in mind that any air vents could lead to other parts of your house. that wouldnt be a good thing if there were smoke in the ventilation would it? lol and if your family hardly goes in the basement wont it seem odd if you all of a sudden go down there, or are you planning on going down there when nobodies about?
