Try it, your gonna kill it anyways right? Or, when you harvest, immediately put a bud in the fridge for a day or two and see what happens.

Yes you can. If you can, give it the 12/12 light cycle. It will not grow that cold but it will speed up the curing time if you have it properly flushed before harvest.

    fridging before harvest?

wow that was a long shot and i got positive feedback! lol
So basically i would flush and then place the pot in the fridge like overnight or maybe well into the next afternoon and then harvest it?
Do you really think it will turn purple?
is there a risk of ruining the buds?
    thanks for the comments
    peace

    fridging before harvest?

so they soil should be completely dry before i put the plant in the fridge?

Any ideas as to how long i should keep it in there?
Once it goes in there, i dont plan on doing anymore watering or lighting. I'm just gonna stick it in the dark fridge over night before i harvest that morning.

Does any1 think this is a bad idea?

letting it dry out before harvest makes the drying/curing easier/faster.

It takes day's for any cycle change to take place. If you want purple then it may take up to a week. If you flush proper then after your last water while it's still moist put it in. You don't want it in the 40's you want more like mid 50's so the plant will survive the week.

You do know it will not change the taste or potency right?
